Chris Oehl
Chris was born in Pleasantville, NY and came to Ohio to attend the College of Wooster from which he graduated in 1981 and then from Case Western Reserve School of Law in 1986. He began the practice of Law in 1986 in the Wayne County Prosecuting Attorney’s office assigned to the Municipal Court in Wooster. He later served in the Holmes County Prosecutor’s office for 7 years.
He started his career in Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury in 1995. The emphasis of Lee & Oehl is representing people hurt at work and those injured by the negligence of others. Additionally, Chris served as a Solicitor for the Villages of Marshallville and Fredericksburg, Wayne County, Ohio.
In addition to his private practice, Chris returned to the Holmes County Prosecuting Attorney’s office in 2005 where he also served as a felony prosecutor honing his trial court skills.
Chris is married to the Reverend Karen Oehl, retired pastor of Methodist Church in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. They have 2 grown daughters. Chris is a “recovering” distance runner who releases stress now as a road biker. Chris’s current status with Lee & Oehl is of counsel.
